Beachview Villas Sanibel Island | A Tucked-Away Retreat

Beachview Villas on Sanibel Island has officially launched Spring 2026. Formerly known as Beachview Cottages, re-imagined and designed by local interior designers and architects. It’s now the tallest building on Sanibel Island, which means the views are beyond beautiful, and you can experience them from the many outdoor seating areas throughout the property.

We were invited to their launch party and got an exclusive first look at everything they have to offer.

The Moment You Walk In

As soon as you walk up to the resort, you can feel it, the calm. From architecture to interior design, everything here was intentional. The materials, the palette, the layout, all of it creates this unhurried, take your time energy that feels rare these days.

Not a party resort. Not a busy beachfront hotel. A tucked-away retreat that quietly reminds you what Sanibel Island is actually about.

Slowing down.

The Pool & Outdoor Spaces

The pool sits just off the entrance, and most rooms look out over the water with the pool in the foreground. Gulf in the background. A layered view that makes the whole property feel connected to the beach even before you reach it. Along with the pool, there are smaller, intimate gathering areas scattered throughout the property. Everything is designed to feel unhurried and close, never overcrowded, never overwhelming.

Private Beach Access

My favorite part. Beachview Villas offers direct private beach access via a long, beautiful walkway that bridges the resort to the Gulf. You land right in the sand, private and peaceful. Sanibel Island is world-renowned for its shelling, and Beachview Villas delivers you directly to some of the best of it. If shelling is your thing, this is your place.

The Sunsets

Facing the resort, the sunsets fall off to the right, and with this being Sanibel’s tallest building, there are multiple outdoor spots to watch it from. Golden hour here is not something you want to miss.

The Junonia Grand Suite

We got a tour of the Junonia Grand Suite, a 4-bedroom, 2-story villa, and the only 4-unit bedroom stay on Sanibel that offers stays less than a week. Perfect for a quick getaway or a staycation. If you’re looking for somewhere to celebrate something, decompress, or just experience Sanibel properly, this is the suite to book.

More Than Just the Beach

Beachview Villas guests have full access to ’Tween Waters Inn & Marina amenities, including two restaurants, a full-service spa, fitness center, two pools, tennis and pickleball courts, kayak and paddleboard rentals, a deep-water marina, and guided fishing charters.

’Tween Waters Inn & Marina is about 17 minutes down the road, close enough to take advantage of everything they offer, far enough that the quiet of Beachview Villas stays intact.

So while the villas themselves are designed for peace and privacy, you’re never far from an adventure if you want one.

Who This Resort Is For

With 22 rooms and a deliberate focus on privacy, Beachview Villas is designed for the people who want to slow down, reconnect, and be present with the ones they love.

For those who want to connect with nature, explore the island, go shelling at sunrise, watch the sunset from a rooftop, and have a beautiful, intentional place to come back to.

Whether you want to do absolutely nothing or fill every hour with activity, Beachview Villas gives you both options. That’s rare.
