Father’s Day Weekend in Lee County: 6 Ways to Celebrate Dad Across SWFL (2026)

Fathers Day weekend, some dads want a quiet morning and a cold drink. Some want a car show, a chili cookoff, and a trophy with their name on it. Lee County has room for both this year.
Father’s Day weekend lands June 19–21, and the calendar is full, breweries, Dad Olympics, and a few food specials in between. I pulled together the ones worth your time, mapped out day by day so you can plan around the dad in your life.
Friday, June 19
Father’s Day Celebration at Founders Square, Babcock Ranch
The weekend opens at Founders Square at Babcock Ranch with a Bucket Golf Bash that leans all the way into friendly competition. Think mini golf, the crowd-favorite Stein Holding Contest, and a Father’s Day Hole-in-One Challenge on the floating green, land your shot and you’re in the running for a professionally installed Mitsubishi Mini Split System, courtesy of Certified Heating and Cooling. There’s also a sentimental thread running through it: bring an old tie you no longer wear for the “Pin the Tie” keepsake display they plan to bring back year after year.
Local food trucks, Father’s Day vendors, and an easy evening of good company round it out. This is the one for the family that likes to do something together.

A Few Things to Know Before You Go
- Plan around Dad, not the crowd. Saturday’s Hopsized event rewards early RSVPs (first 25 dads), and Swamp Cat’s challenge requires an 11:30 AM sign-up, get there early if competing.
- Free doesn’t mean unplanned. Most of these are free to attend, but the giveaways, swag bags, and contest spots go to whoever shows up ready.
A floating-green hole-in-one, a line dance, a stroller race, or a quiet bourbon with the World Cup on, there’s a corner of Lee County saving a seat for your dad this weekend.
