Fiore’s Garden Center
If you ever need a serene place to get the full Florida experience, I highly recommend Fiore’s Café.
This is one of those spaces where you could, hang out with friends, pet a goat, buy a tropical plant, and walk away feeling like you just stumbled into a secret garden.
When I first pulled up to Fiore’s, I thought I was in the wrong spot. A small blue house sat quietly to the left and that turned out to be the café. Inside were cozy chairs and fresh-baked goods, but what caught my eye first was the décor. It was stunning. Calm, earthy, and inviting.
And that was just the café.
The moment I stepped outside, I realized I’d only scratched the surface. The property stretches into a dreamy maze of native Florida plants, lush trees, and colorful hibiscus blooms. Healthy chickens wandered near a charming red bridge, setting the tone for how fairytale like the space felt. Just beyond it, tucked into a wall of greenery (I nearly missed it) was Megan’s Tropical Plants. A hidden door within a tangle of leaves and purple flowers led into what felt like a secret cave.
Inside, the secret room opened up into a jungle-like emporium, dimly lit with pockets of sunlight streaming through. Tropical plants towered overhead, some rare, some surprisingly affordable, all of them gorgeous.
Back on the winding path, the scenery just kept going. I passed seating areas tucked into quiet corners and views wrapped in greenery. A lake shimmered nearby, butterflies danced above the flowers (SO many butterflies), iguanas sunned themselves on rocks, and lizards darted between walkways.

Then came my reward, at the end of the path? Goats.
Well cared for goats of all ages, running up for some love.
From the colorful plants to the quiet tucked away corners, it truly felt like stepping into a mystical garden and forgetting everything else.
This place is a rare blend: family-friendly, naturally stunning, and full of little surprises.
On my way out I happened to run into the owner, David Fiore.
David’s passion for starting a space like this was rooted in community. Hosting events on the property for the community, to share his space.
He personally designed the entire property and now offers landscaping services to help others create and maintain their own serene gardens.
So next time you’re looking for something different to do in Fort Myers, whether you’re grabbing a coffee, shopping for plants, entertaining the kids, or just craving stillness I highly recommend taking a visit to Fiore’s Café.
